Our motto: That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace. (Psalm 144:12)
Through the leadership and commitment of a dedicated staff, Bible classes are held each Sunday. Our goal is to teach biblical lessons from the Word of God to people of all ages! The Lord Jesus said: “Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not…” (Luke 18:16 KJV)
Our Sunday School begins with Song Time for all ages in the 527 Classon Avenue building. We sing hymns and choruses that speak of Salvation, Christ’s love for us and our Hope of Heaven. After Song Time and a short message from our Superintendent, we break into classes for a lesson. The younger children are taken to the lower-level of the building and the adults remain upstairs. The classes are split into the following age groups:
Age 1-6 (Primary)
Age 7-11 (Intermediate)
Age 12-17 (Preteens/Teenagers)
Age 18-25 (College)
Age 25 and up (Young Adult)
Senior Class
We invite you to bring your children to Sunday School so they can learn about the love of the Lord Jesus!
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Third Week of July
Our Vacation Bible School is held each year in the third week of July. Children learn songs, make crafts, participate in a Memory Verse Competition and (most importantly) are taught a lesson about the Lord Jesus. The Good News is presented each day.
On Friday evening, parents and guardians of children are invited to attend the Closing Ceremonies of VBS. During this time, the VBS kids sing songs and perform funny skits based on their memory verses and lessons. The powerful message of the Gospel is also presented. At the conclusion of the evening, parents and guardians are invited to enjoy a gallery-walk of the crafts and light refreshments in the Fellowship Hall.
Children and teenagers, age 3-18 are welcome!
